Landscape clip bug with uGridsToLoad 5

Even though my uGridsToLoad is set to five, I am experiencing the falling through land bug. Unlike 9 or higher, where entire cells are always affected, it appears to happen entirely at random (mostly in high graded mountainous areas). I can pass over an area and barely be able to move because I'm clipping through the land, but if I pass over it again, it doesn't happen. This is very strange behavior. I don't know which mod might be the culprit because I haven't been outside flat lands for a while. Can anyone help?
