What abour REAL real-time gameplay ?

No thanks. Give me a 24hr clock and I'll be happy, setting it to be the same as your PC/console time though, no. Terrible idea, imo. Being required to play at certain times of the day (in RL) just to do something in a single player game is useless. :/

eh...no thanks, not only would it mean I basicly could only play the game on the weekend where I can play the game all day, but it would mean they would need to remove the in game sleep/wait, two very useful tools when you play a open rpg like a TES game.

always remember fun gameplay > anything else in a game.

When i can, i usually use 1 to 4 hours, 1 to 5 hours.
Don t like speeded up games where night day feel like starcraft 2, nor do i want a real cycle because then you would have to put real time life span to simple stuff like eating.
You can always fast forward eating and some stuff like crafting tought.... so i don t know.

To do this waiting would have to be removed. Sleeping could be used as a method to save and quit the game and when you reload the save your character wakes up. Bethesda will not do this, it would just be a inconvience to everyone even though it is a cool idea. Maybe it could be a option that you can turn off or on from the options menu or could be a part of any form of hardcoe mode.

Meh, as everyone stated before there are far too many issues with making the game real time, the number one thing is that no one has the time to devote to the game 24 hours. Me personally I think I would try that out for a day but then go back to a 15:1 scale.

Put down another no for me.

But it'd be great to do an adjustable time scale instead of having to change through he console. The 1:30 was way too quick.

The only difference I would like to see in Skyrim is vendors and quests available at night. In Oblivion, I did a lot of waiting. Every time I came back to the Imperial City to sell junk I found in a cave I had to hang out in front of the weapons shop for several hours. I liked that in Morrowind I could wander into the town in the middle of the night and sell my junk. It felt gritty and satisfying. It was actually more immersive than the shops having real hours. How does that make sense? I don't know, I just know I experienced it.

Say I work from 9-5. I make it home by 6. I have dinner, and relax for another hour. Its about 7:30 to 7:45 now. Shops in game close at 8...

Maybe I want to roleplay a character that takes damage from sunlight, or maybe even doesn't regenerate mana at night. Options like this get tedious if I am forced to play only in a certian time frame because I have to work.

What happens when we wait? Time doesn't go forward 8 hours even though my character just slept for 8 hours?

This is why it's a terrible idea.

You need to add another voting option:

I would like to see time progress at normal speed, but not as the same time as the real world.

No way it was awesome that they closed in OB, it made being a thief so much better, sneaking into someones house/shop at night while they sleep, the schedules(radiant AI) were one of the biggest reasons I like OB more than MW.

I voted that game days have nothing to do with real world time. But more importantly, I would like day time and night time to have more meaning in the game world aside from just being darker or brighter. I'd like to see certain quests only obtainable or completeable based on time of day and stuff like that.
