I would rather wait, because I just love to play FPS on a computer, not on a console.
I think after I graduated, my laptop will not be needed so I can spend some money for a new desktop (should be much cheaper than a gaming laptop)

For the most part, yes. I am speaking mostly from someone who has built his gaming rig, but desktops usually are cheaper than laptops. It is even cheaper if you decide to build it yourself.
