Me and my friend have been extremely excited for brink for the past 5 months, but we are at a crisis

He's been saving up to buy a new desktop to be able to play this game but does not have enough funds and the game comes out in 9 days.
I'll definitely be able to play it, but he has a laptop that lags when playing games like Borderlands and Left 4 Dead 2. I don't know his specs but they aren't the best.
Will he be able to play this game with low settings? I was really hoping he would be on my team on Day 1. :cryvaultboy:

If this game does take too much, does anybody have any advice or suggestions on how to get my friend to be able to play this?

Hmm.. Sounds like he will really be struggling with playing Brink then. His best hope would be to additionally lower graphics through altering his config. If the game allows for it.
But even then I think it'll be hard.

This is just all guesswork since I don't know his laptop's specs so yeah..

I doubt it, but as said above, can't really be sure without his specs.

Have your friend go http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/. If he doesn't meet the reqs the only thing I'm familiar with laptops for upgrading is the RAM, otherwise he might need a new pc.
