How to place a creature or random npc

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 7:27 am

I have a spell tome I made and I would like to place it in a creatures inventory that isnt important. How can I place one right outside of the Sewer where the game starts.

You just drag and drop it there in the CS.

Why do you start a new thread for every question and why aren't any of them in the CS forum where they belong?

Im retarded. Plus people wont know what my question is unless I make a new topic. Ive realized its annoying and Ive tried to keep it to a minimum. I know its supposed to be in CS there's hardly anyone there.
Okay say the ruins across from the sewer how would I place him there. Ive created him I just dont know how to place him at that area.

Just bring that area up in the Render window (choose the Tamriel worldspace and look for an area called Vilverin Exterior probably). Then you literally just drag him out of the NPC listing and drop him in the render window.

We are fully able to read, and tend to answer if we can, HOWEVER:

...that is simply no excuse to break the forum rules and annoy us. The rules are what they are for a reason, and if you continue breaking them, you will soon se that people ignore your questions. So post your questions where they belong.

It's also fairly useless. Posting here because more people read this forum achieves nothing because the people who can and will answer questions about the CS also frequently read the CS forum. Posting in the mods forum doesn't get you faster, more or better answers...it just gets you ignored by more people who can't/won't/don't help with CS questions.

So far its served me but Ill keep that in mind next time I want to post something. I have another question but now Im afraid to post. If I am making a mod that depends on the races and spells from another mod how do you make that work?

Check the CS wiki for "Mod de-isolation".

It's a bit complicated, so read through it twice and then see if you can make it work.

There's a project in the works that should make it easier, I believe.

Yes. There are alternatives, but Wrye Bash is the one that makes it easiest to esmify esps.
