TESV: Corrupt a Wish #2

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 5:09 am

I wish you had remembered to make a wish :wink_smile:

I wish for TES:V for guards to not have psychic powers and for towns to be open so you can walk into them with out having to go through a door guarded by said psychic guards
(and mor redheads)

Granted but every gaurd you see will suspect you since they are no longer psychic and bring you in for questioning and interrogation. Of course this becomes incredibly annoying, plus they keep stealing your crap!!

I wish we could customize armor. More parts, different parts in different areas. Gadgets maybe.

Granted. It was called Oblivion. And it had a Construction Set to put them in and everything.

I wish TES:V has a more adaptive AI interface, making it more realistic, with bad guys utilizing tactics to combat you.

Unfortunately us console users had no access to the Construction Set, I ended up juicing up my computer and buying the game for PC in addition to my copy for the 360.

Granted, unfortunately you will now need to plan every battle step by step just to stand a fighting chance against a few bandits.

I wish for mounted combat, and by that I mean being able to easily swing your sword, blast off spells, and fire arrows while mounted on a horse.

Granted, but it's only available in one enemyless region.

I wish for political intrigue between warring factions, with notable consequences to the overall power balance as a result of player actions.

Granted, but it's just Fallout New Vegas reskinned with Oblivion's style.

I wish for more balance in the game, and a proper leveling system.
...And trophies for PS3...

Granted, the balance is perfect since all weapons are exactly identical. And there is a perfect leveling system, working in real time on everyone but yourself.

Oh and they add an enormous amount of trophies for the PS3, making the engine crash on startup.

I wish the AI were state of the art, letting the NPCs making decisions and getting married and killing people and whatnot on their own.

Granted, except one NPC who is essential decides to marry and kill everybody in the game.

I wish TESV had a map of the whole planet of Nirn.

granted, but the map was created by making a special arrangement of carbon atoms, and because of this, is too small for anyone on Tamriel, including you, to see.

I wish for TES V to have Daggerfall's gameplay, but a completely new storyline, and with all the bugs fixed from Daggerfalls gameplay, and completely new, top of the line, better than STALKER Call of Pripyat Graphics.

Granted, the new storyline is about a blind and deaf guy just about to die. The game ends after a silent two hour long black screen. The graphics and gameplay is mindblowingly good, you just never see it.

I want levitation back in TES V.

Granted, but when you levitate it drains your health, mana, stamina, and money and makes you older

I wish it was in Summerset Isle and you could sail ships and have your own crew.

I wish TES V somehow combined the best (imo) of the previous chapters:

- Races have noticeable differences, like Arena;

- We could explore all provinces, like Arena;

- Had the creative, detailed Chaarcater Creation of Daggerfall (without the bugged racial stuff);

- had riddles and puzzles (not tons but some at important points of quests);

- you felt your character grew in power at levels;

- could sabotage the main quest and NOT get the 'reload' screen from Oblivion;

- Kept the excellent and beautiful environment of Oblivion;

etc....

Yay, I can get a modded MQ to replace that one!

Granted, but all the water is now acidic, and your boat disintegrates right after it's launched.

Someone doesn't know how this works....

Anyway, let's corrupt your wish:

your wish is granted, but all of Tamriel has sunk beneath the waves, and attempting to dive down far enough to engage with any of the game material like the MQ always results in death due to the huge water pressures.

oh right, thanks minus...

I wish to command a zombie army.

Don't forget to make a wish :sleep:

I wish that TESV had a more detailed riding system with multiple mount types. (flying, horses, others)

granted, but the entire game is riding mounts on a track.

I wish to rule over mudcrabs.

Granted, but your mudcrab subjects grow restless of your high tax rates and a rebellion is forged right under your very nose! You are killed and usurped. Then the mudcrabs gain a lust for power and eventually all of Tamriel is ruled by mudcrabs. And conversations will go like this.
"I saw a Bosmer the other day... Nasty little creatures." "See ya" "bye" *stare awkwardly at each other for 2 minutes then walk away*

I wish the TES V construction set could be used on consoles (even if I had to pay extra for it)

Granted, but you have to download EVERY mod that is created, turning your game into one big collection of porm.

I wish the game took place in a smaller area, meaning that even though there would be less cities, they'd be bigger and more detailed.

This has turned into a list of wants for the next game, and after two threads it is fairly repetitive - use the Ideas and Suggestions topic please
