Oh no, I'm here once more, I must have spent over 3 hours today on the Skyrim forum section, while all the time I knew there wouldn't be any news or anything, just the usual stuff, what shoulod be in and what shouldn't. Exanging knowledge about lore and that sort of stuff.

Give me another dose of Skyrim forum! (watches the screen with eyes as huge as footballs): Woooooow... Aaaah...

I told myself I wouldn't do this again, I knew waayy too much about Oblivion before it's release and I guess im on the path to do it again with Skyrim. I think it's fun to see the forum dynamic change pre and post launch.

I check the forums every 2 or 3 days but I don't have so much time to post as I'd like. The dynamics here is very fast, threads come and go like crazy.

Good topic! Yeah I have been checking in for over a year now, starting in the general TES blog, in anticipation for Skyrim. Usualy check in once a day for about 15 min. Sometimes two or three times a day if I have time.

These forums are a great place to share your thoughts, discuss things and perhaps try to influence the developers. It's hard to quit sometimes, but I usually don't stay for more than 30 minutes. But whenever I get the chance, like on breaks at school, I take the opportunity to read a few topics and maybe make some posts :)

NOTE, AWESOME FEATURE MANY PEOPLE INCLUDING ME TEND TO MISS:
Here is a tip that will further let you indulge in the awesomeness of this forum:

In the subscribing preferences or whatever they're called on your user controls, you can set it so you get noticed whenever someone quotes you. This will let you stay updated on discussions, which are often hard to keep track of since a thread gets like 5 pages per day if it's a popular one.

Wow really? I never knew, I think i got the setting saved now, I'm not sure I chose the right thing though, oh well.

It seems one third of the users here are hopelessly addicted to these forums, and all of us are addicted to skyrim! And 90 % of us are addicted pretty hugely to the forums!

Yup, a great way of keeping track of discussions within a thread. Just set it to "in-line notification", which will simply notice you in the notifications bar above plus a box will pop up, so you don't get your mailbox spammed :P

I'm addicted to Skyrim, and this is the best outlet for getting information on the game, thats why I always check looking for updates... This kind of hype always backfires at me once they game is released.

I spent many hours on these boards in January but I've scaled back to checking now and then, sometimes not checking for a couple days. I have a backlog of games I could be playing rather than obsessing over Skyrim months before release. I still like the speculation and discussion though.

I lurk here and there, sine recent times, but not as much as I do on other sections, like Morrowind and such.

Let's see... my girlfriend left 19:30, it's now 23:43 and I've been logged on constantly since she left. Had some breaks for eating, making coffee and stuff. Browse the internet, pester Bethesda employees on Twitter, and check in here about every five minutes or so, if not more often. Haven't done any homework, haven't played any games (which probably would have been more fun) and have sat on my ass most of the time.

This is a bad day though. It's not like this every day - only when a hubdate, podcast, screenshot, concept art, video, anything Skyrim related is imminent.... which seems to have been most of the time lately :P Other than that I check the forums once or twice every day at school on my netbook.

I usually get on here for awhile each day.

I like speculating/arguing about a game not out yet.

I only post on topics I see that I need to post on

I don't go spam-posting on this forums, there's other forums for that tbh

I'm on here a lot. Seeing as I'm trying to save for a PC (first proper desktop PC I'll ever have owned!) to play Skyrim, it means I can't afford to do anything at all which could cost money as I'm a low earner as it is - so it's good to stay on here, not spend anything and keep being reminded why I'm scrimping. :)

I guess I probably average about two or three visits per day, a bit more on the weekend

Probably stay around 15 minutes each time.

To be honest, I enjoy speculating / pondering / commenting on a game that isn't out yet, and about which we don't know much yet ;)

 Daily dose of Skyrim forum keeps us going!

I would just want to be here on the forums right now, to wake my brain with a bit of Skyrim. But that would mean I'd be late for morning classes.. Which is worse? To not follow Skyrim or to not follow what the teacher says about "jaa-da-jaa-da-jaa-da"? :P

Go to the member list, apply advance filter, set Join date after Dec 10, 2010, post more than 1000, and you will see the top four addicts, lol.

Just realised that two out of the four, have the word 'dragonborn' in their nicknames.

Ever since I heard that TES5 was coming 11-11-11(By the way I did [censored] my pants while hopping around my room in joy)I can not get off the Skyrim forums. Its just nice to see such a huge variety of people coming together and talking about a game, unlike in my school there are about 5 people who know about TES and 2(Not including me) who like the game or is into it
