What's causing this?

Hi! Recently I got a new computer and got the reignition to play Oblivion again!

However I've run into a problem with modded Oblivion. Here's what it looks like:

http://s622.photobucket.com/albums/tt306/atibingler/?action=view¤t=ScreenShot16-1.jpg&newest=1

As you can see the hand is a ghost-hand that us attached to nothing. Basically the same thing happens when drawig a bow, hitting with a blade, punching with fists etc. I wonder what mod's causing this. Possibly a conflict? Now, I've searched for an answer here and run the OBMM Conflict Detector but I keep getting errors. I hate doing this kind of threads with just one problem to solve. But I really hope an experienced modder can help me with this. Here's another example..

Again I've marked the problem area with a red circle. Here's my load order:

Are you changing the FOV to 90+? I get something like that with FOV at 90, guess it gets worse the higher it is set.

Also, your load order is off - I'd suggest using BOSS to sort it out.

Yep. From my experience, increasing FOV past 80 gradually increases this kind of clipping. Plus you're playing on a widescreen monitor, which adds to this "effect". I see only two solutions: either go back to <80 FOV or live with this issues (Oblivion's default is 75). I've settled with 85 (5:4 monitor).

And most probable cause for this is Streamline. Check it's INI file and tweak it.

Before you give up on this, I have an alternative solution (if you don't mind some freaky looking menus).

Set "fNearDistance=0.0001" in the Oblivion.ini. That setting controls how close to the camera things are drawn. It defaults to ten, which leaves a huge gap like you're experiencing. Setting it to 0.0001 will pretty much eliminate the gap in almost all situations (still might see a bit of it while swimming or with really odd animations).

It does mess up your menus though, but only the main menus and their sub-menus. Highlight boxes will be half-drawn and text is missing. Doesn't bother me personally, but if it bugs you it's possible to increase the number enough to avoid the menu problems and still be way below the normal setting of ten.

M'aiq knows much. FOV stands for Field of View. The broader your field of view, the more you can see. And the stranger your eyeballs become.

What's already said. Streamline has a Streamview feature with which you can change the Field of View (FOV). It's 75 at default. I'm playing at 90 - and get slight gaps when looking straight down with drawn weapons.
