As stated above,not likely. What's an RPG without you naming your charachter!?
I've played a number of RPGs that don't let you name you're character.
But yes, I'd say this won't happen in Skyrim, because the game will likely let you type you're own name as in past games, and thats what I'd want. Because there's no way a list of premade names could provide as much customization as letting me type my own. This does of course mean NPCs won't be able to refer to my character by name, but I can live with that. It's like that in other RPGs that let you name you're character and have voiced dialog too. Morrowind could only avoid it because the dialog was not voice acted, but it seems like in Skyrim, it will be, so having NPCs refer to you're character by name probably wouldn't be feasible. Unless they have your name only show up in subtitles while the voice acting replaces it with the appropriate pronoun, the name of your race, or the title of Dovakhiin or Dragonborn or just leaves it out depending on the circumstances, but I don't expect to see that, for one thing because it might get a little confusing if subtitles say something different from the voice acting.
