..and was quite amused.

CharletTE, N.C. (AP) — A suspect in a North Carolina home invasion robbery is in jail after a T-shirt bearing his photo was found outside the crime scene.

The Charlette Observer reports Friday that the shirt fell out of the suspect's car as he was making a hasty getaway.

Charlette-Mecklenburg police say a man and woman were at home when two men broke in March 29 and took a wallet and some jewelry.

The suspects struggled with the man as they fled. Later, the man found a black T-shirt on the ground displaying a mug shot and the slogan: "Making money is my thang."

Two days later, 25-year-old Jonathan Tyrone Huntley turned himself in and was charged with common law robbery and breaking and entering. It wasn't immediately known if he has a lawyer.

Funny criminal stories. I got one; Back in my hometown a few years ago, some guys had broken into somebody's house, they loaded the truck but the driver dropped his keys inside or something, they spent like 30 minutes looking for the keys when the owners of the house pulled in. The two ran but were later found, they left their truck in the driveway. The keys were later found in the storage-box-thing in the middle of the truck. It's funny because one of the guys was a year ahead of me in school. (He had dropped out though)

The Carolinas aren't known for producing, nor attracting, intelligent types. I'm surprised the criminal could spell "thang" correctly.

Please don't stereotype two entire states, unless you live in one of the states then you do not have the right.

Anyway, who gets a picture of themselves and puts it on a shirt, and wears it to rob a house.

Illinois drivers drive like idiots. I can stereotype because I've seen them... A lot.

I read something somewhere that had a bunch of dumb criminals but I think the one the OP shared is dumber than any I read.

Thanks for the insult, pal. I appreciate it. So does the entire population of the Carolinas.

You have witnessed your example many times, how many times have you heard about idiot criminals from the Carolinas?
Idiot criminals, or idiots in general, come from every state, they aren't all concentrated in one area.

Well, my brother was stationed in Ft. Bragg which is located in N. Carolina and he was there for about 2 years. In that particular region of N. Carolina the crime rates were high he heard gunshots many times. Somebody actually tried to break into his apartment which caused him to go out and by a firearm. So from what I've heard of N. Carolina isn't exactly a good thing.

An argument could be made that idiots are concentrated in certain areas. If you look at areas that have poor education that never gets fixed those who didn't get the proper education couldn't do better than there parents therefore couldn't afford to move out of the area. It's an unending cycle. That's not to say there can't be an intelligent person in that bunch but if you're not raised with a proper education, you might be an idiot.
