I even disabled switchable graphics, installed ATI's latest driver, and still cannot finish the intro movie. Always crashing just a second into the movie.

see if this works go here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas and delete the data folder then run verify cash in steam to replace it
