WereBears would actually be kind of sweet for Nords.
(wereBoars have some scrappy potential, but honestly would just come off as kind of silly, and belonging as villains in 1980s cartoons)
Werewolves are going to attract a little more notice though, and I'm fine with that as long as they make them a STORY element and not just a weapon.
If I become a werewolf I don't want to just go on a murderous rampage ALL the time - I want to discover an underground society/culture of werewolves. That might mean some scattered dens, characters with decent dialogue trees, and even some quests (preferably a few persistent ones too, so I always feel like I have something to do AS a werewolf). Or, if we're going for more of a feral beast feel than a pack feel, it might mean territorial disputes, being hunted, and challenging rival alpha wolves.
But one way or another I just want there to be more to it than tearing up some expendable NPCs. I know it probably doesn't seem as worthwhile to build a subculture around an element that a lot of players may not experience at all, but the characters and locations can still be there for werewolf hunting for those who don't end up werewolf-joining.
