Werewolf: Hinterland

Herr Doktor Otto Willheimer Starkhelm von Hamster-lockern

Well in the interest of narrowing down the suspect pool, I'll throw my vote against Trent Knowles, on the basis that his reserved, calculating and planning character fits the actions of the arch wolf more cleanly than anybody else, and on his unusual actions (the singing, specifically) before the murder.

Oh, and I'll search the bridge.

Trent Knowles

Looks annoyed, as if pestered by a fly.

Phoncible made a list of people that fit, and came up with six names. So you are going to just guess, at what, a roughly fifteen percent chance of getting it right? Oh, yes, that's a winning strategy.

And in what twisted world do you live where singing is a sign of malicious intent?

I saw on the internet one time, this chick could sing and it broke a wine glass. For all we know your vocal cords could be a weapon of mass destruction, you hear me Trent, mass destruction!

Lays back down with a grin of sarcasm

Honestly, I'm not sure what he could be thinking. Common case of villain blames the victim? Who knows.

Ranger Tom
Sunshine

How much of his body was covered in soil? Is there evidence of soil being taken from the ground near by? Any bruising on the body where the soil is?

Edit: Does the soil have any markings on it? How muddy is the ground around the campsite at the minute?

Edit 2: What is his facial expression? Surprised, scared?

Just a small amount. It's fairly dry today. And Mark's eyes are wide and his mouth mostly closed. The rest of what you ask can't be answered without a more rigorous anolysis.

I've been here the whole time. I'm Scruffy the janitor.

Well thanks for remembering my name stranger though I don't recall seeing you here earlier. Anyway to those of you here that think searching the bridge should wait is a bad idea. Scruffy thinks that we should get it out the way now intead of having it nag at us like a foot fungus.

Finally Scruffy is curious to whether the fallen ranger saw the attack coming or was he unprepared? Secondly approximately how long did it take for Mark to die?

I would't know, I was looking at the bridge like the rest of you.

OOC: our habit of throwing votes around without proper evidence lost us the last game, lets not jump to any conclusions

Well if I know anything explosives were probably used to destroy the bridge. Its still way to early to kill anyone I think.

I'll vote for dat bridge too.

I think we need to wait until we have more evidence until we start to condemn people to death for singing.

Well now, those wolves were mighty furry, but really not THAT scary. I've seen worse in a mexican restaurant bathroom before! I'm afraid I don't have much of an opinion on who they might be among us, just don't see enough evidence yet. I will however, say that I think that bridge collapsing the way it did, and then when we turned around they were behind us, all a bit to suspicious for my tastes. Also, keep in mind, I'm an engineer, so when it comes to structural integrity, I'm probably our best bet on figuring out how that bridge collapsed, so I vote we search the bridge. Hopefully we uncover enough evidence to pin down one of these furry bastards and then we can wring them out to dry! Oh, by the way, any ladies here single? Looks around suggestively

OOC: Sorry for taking so long to post >< I was getting off when it was posted up last night and today is/was grocery shopping day^^

Takes a step back in the face of overwhelming criticism. What, did I strike a nerve? As callous as it may seem I'm a man of logic, and my experience in such matters dictates that it's best to begin narrowing down our rather extensive suspect list as soon as possible. My own theory is not concerned with Phoncible's list, as comprehensive though it may be; as I've explained my vote is based upon my perception for the arch wolf's character and how well that corresponds to Trent's character. His unusual actions were more of an afterthought for the case.

That said I have a strange sense that Trent would be a useful investigator were his innocent, so I understand the reluctance to vote. I'll consider.

This bickering is pointless everyone! There is little to no evidence supporting anyone's guilt or innocence. We have to wait until we have more.
