FYI, PS3 patch just went live. People still seem generally unhappy though.

Gstaff was saying it would be released for Xbox 360 "next week"
Maybe that means next Monday, so it could be a few more days...

If you read the responses on the PS3 forums it doesn't seem like it fixed very much at all.

Did the people saying it didnt fix anything start a new game? Or continue?

Every patch ive seen released for every game say it does work with saved games, but its best to start a new game to get the full benefits

Yah it seems like the ps3 players are still unhappy even with the patch, they say the framerate and freezing issues are still there and that the patch was mainly to fix scripting/quest related bugs.
i guess we will have to wait and see what happens when our patch releases.

Also this was posted in a thread i started :
Thursday 12/9/10 12:59 PM: Gstaff: "To update, we're hopeful for a release between Monday and Wednesday of next week."

Well Bethesda can just about do compitence not miracles, anyone who has played Fallout 3 or Oblivion on PS3 wll have experienced the freezing and framerate issues, which is a hardware issue not software no amount of patching will fix that.

PS3 users always get screwed with Bethesda games. You would think they would learn already. I have some friends that still can't play fallout 3 on ps3.From what I hear PS3 is just a pain to develop on. I'm just hoping the DLC bug is gone and the whole needing keys that don't exist are gone as well. Those are the 2 main ones in my opinion that were pretty game breaking. The strip issue and the DLC bug.

Oh, they aint happy over in PS3 land.
A 20Mb patch...is that it?
They're still having major issues with the game. It seems to have fixed a few scripting errors and that's about it.
And not one post from Bethesda...no patch details, nothing.

They may have thought we were pissed now, wait until people realise the patch fixes sod all.

Absolute rip off merchants, the lot of them.
