It is almost 2 weeks away from release and clans need to be able to begin recruiting and the sticky that we have made is not a good way to recruit. Every game I have ever been apart of has had a clan recruitment thread available on the forums so can you please make one so that each clan has an opportunity to discuss things with potential recruits and advertise their clan to whatever extent they want. So please make a special forum or people (myself included) will begin advertising their clan in the only forum available and others will not like that idea.

its stupid to recruit prior to the game launching. first off your picking randoms off the forums, second you don't know if they are even good, and third you don't even know how active they will be. From the players perspective they don't even know if the clan thats posting is even active, good, or organized.

they will not open a clan recruitment till the game is launched. plain and simple.

I do agree with Mike to an extrend. Pre-release recruitment always involves failure.

But then again I do agree with Sukaface even more, that these forums finally have to get organised.

Just a suggestion FACE, there are many clan websites like NAC, that are on the clan thread in these forums, that play multiple games and are already organized and ready to put groups together.

its not stupid at all to begin recruitment prior to game launch my clan and I have wont IGN tournaments and are known by any important clans we post our credentials and then line up how many recruits we have to tryout and set up dates for these people to try out in the long run for "elite" clans it is beneficial to find how many perspective recruits they will have to trifle through.

Agreed, and Agreed. Spring forum cleaning? When choosing clan members i want people who are good, know the maps like the back of their hand, know at least some well earned facts about the game and stuff i dint know is a bonus, people who work well together but still rival making them better players willing to learn form their mistakes and each other. I think this shoudl be the standard of any clan really.

I could carless about IGN tourney's lol if you consider that to be something worth noting then lol @ u. The only competitive league worth noting are Gamebattles and unless your team has been active on Gamebattles in previous games then I highly doubt your team is even worth mentioning to the TRUE competitive scene. I promise you, all the notable, elite, competitive teams will wait till the actually game comes out to start recruitment instead of picking up forum randoms.

picking people of the forums is a complete waste of time, you know nothing about them. most organized teams have a website with a recruitment app. that helps them filter through people who are worthy enough to tryout, instead of trying out each and every recruit that shows interest there way.

if your team is even half of what you claim it to be then you should have not only put more thought into the way you recruit, but also be a little more organized.

btw, this is a completely IP, that no one has played before. prove yourself in this game before boasting things that are irrelevant.

I don't think clan recruitment should really be encouraged until the game comes out.

If you build a solid clan of 12 members (8 per match + 4 to let you cycle players for availabilty), then 6 of them play the game and turn out to be *#&$ at it even though they have proven skills in other games, or turn out to not like it as much as they expected, then you're going to have to start over from halfway, but with a team who already have established loyalties - better to hold off until release, so we can all pick up people we KNOW we'll be playing BRINK with.

LOL@ u for thinking gamebattles is worth noting haha gamebattle revolves around one of the worst games in the FPS genre CoD, so go really devoted fan somewhere else
