November, maybe.

Edit: But on topic, I'm hopeful for same-world-space cities, it'd be nice to see the dragon or whatever actually attacking before we stumble past the gate; but like seperate interior cells, it won't bother me terribly much if that's not the case.

I am sure i saw a screenshot that made it look like the cities would be open

yah, here it is:http://yourimg.in/j/x82z7e.jpg

Not sure that is one of the 5 "massive" cities though.

However I must say I am not too bothered about whether or not cities are open or not, the only thing it really effected was levitation (correct me if I am wrong) which I felt was rather cheap, I would much rather see more interesting and creative ways to access areas that are inaccessable, such as using a crates as a boost or using a plank to make a temporary bridge and while I highly doubt that such a tool would be featured in game I would absolutely love to see grappling hooks.

Of course since the towns and world will presumably be subject to the limitations of a fully open world regardless it would be nice to see cities that are open and a part of the world space however it really isnt too big a deal for me.

How un-realistic would it be if you were inside a close city, a dragon attacked, you left the cell and suddenly there was no trace of it?

Have you ever seen an NPC or monster (zombie) chase you out of a dungeon? Try it sometime. :)

This exact same methodology could be applied by making the dragon take off from the city core, when you're in the exterior cell, giving you the illusion that its taking flight and coming for you.

Regardless of how it goes down, its really hard to make assumptions without knowing how the engine will handle itself.

About the same time people stop complaining about people who post threads that have been posted a thousand times.

Well, obviously, because then those people would have nothing to complain about.
