I recently started re-modding my Oblivion and during the process (I believe it was after I rebuilt a bashed patch), my bars became oddly discolored:

If you have a mod called Natural Environment, that's probably the mod that is causing it. There should be an explanation in the ReadMe on how to remove the HUD-changes.

I recognized the changes from NE, but I haven't had NE installed in ages! I can't quite figure out which menu file it is that I need to remove; any tips?

Remove all files from \Textures\menus\hud, \Textures\menus50\hud, and \Textures\menus80\hud.
