» Sun Jul 04, 2010 4:44 pm So I got Oblivion a few weeks ago and played through it for a while - It was fun, but oh so ridiculously easy and after not to long boring. I did some trawling and found out about Oscuro's mod, I read up about it and it sounded like exactly what I was looking for in Oblivion.
So I install 1.3, update all the way to 1.33 and create my new character. All was well in the world, the initial dungeon was cake.
Then, like so many OOO noobs before me I made the mistake of exiting the sewers and all hell broke loose!
Sideway's caverns? Heck no, the first few imp's I can kill then BAM. The ruins right across from where you exit (name escapes me?) After multiple reloads I managed to kill the bandits outside and work my way in. First bandit was not too hard, though I had to reload a few times but the second guy after several minutes of hacking and slashing still would not DIE!
I've been looking for some newbie advice with limited success, over and over people suggested this topic "http://www.gamesas.com/?showtopic=732734" as a good place to look for some tips. Unfortunately it seems the page no longer exists.
I looked through and found threat #25 on the forums regarding spoilers but found limited help.
So, to all who have experience with this mod any suggestions? I really want to enjoy this mod, it seems so comprehensive and well thought out. It seems to me I'm missing something, what's a good path to start off in OOO to get a level or two and possibly some loot? Thanks!
