Rest of the Morrowind

I'd rather see Elseweyr

Have you seen the Elsweyr, Deserts of Anequina mod for Oblivion? Unfortunately, the creator has inexplicably abandoned it and told everyone they can no longer add to it, but what they had was brilliant.

The Tamriel Rebuilt project is already "doing justice" to the rest of mainland Morrowind, one piece at a time. The first 1/6th of the mainland has been released in a "very playable" beta form with plenty of side-quests and stuff to do and see. The second section is also available as a beta release, but still lacks quests. Quality is on par with the basic game, if not better in many respects, and the group of modders involved have stuck very strictly to the available lore wherever possible. In short, if you haven't seen it, go there RIGHT NOW. It's well worth checking out.

At this stage, there's no reason for Bethesda to "reinvent the wheel" (even if it's their wheel in the first place) and make the rest of the province, because it's already half-way done, and being done to standards that are fairly close to their own. I'd much rather see Bethesda put time, effort, and creativity into making another "unique environment" like Black Marsh, Elsweyr, or Valenwood than rehashing the same setting as before (especially since, according to the events of Infernal City, now there's even less to see).

Yap, this could actually work too.
Also, Black Marsh is the province I want to see the most. :D
Hope TES6 is about it.

i mentioned this in another thread a couple weeks ago i think it would work

TES 6 Blackmarsh (includes mainland Morrowind).. we need a shorter name though..lol

I think it's way too big for a expansion.

Vvardenfell is the only ashy part of Morrowind. That fact is basically covered in dialogue in tribunal. I imagine the rest would likely be more like Black Marsh, Mournold had a lot of "swamp bird" sounds and such. I don't think it'd really work, though. Probably too late to suggest this sort of thing anyway.

What was that thing? That big thing, like a rock but with fire...oh yes, a volcano. A really big volcano that erupted a while ago, basically destroying most of Morrowind. So yeah, don't see that happening any time soon.

Id rather see the series continue to move forward not backward. I think you should do the same. Morrowind is done and over with.

I say combine it with TES 6: Black Marsh.

This is what I was thinking too... I mean aren't Morrowind a part of Blackmarsh now?

Morrowind was the province north of Blackmarsh the terrain in the southernmost portion of Morrowind was similar to blackmarsh as you ventured further into it. Still....Morrowind(except maybe the outer most regions) is covered in ash from the explosion of red mountain.

Yeah Morrowind is done and gone, so its no longer the Morrowind we know. So it would be passible to another game just as a side note. Even better than doing an expansion i would rather see Bethesda acquire technology, which by the way already exist so it could build the world piece by piece, that would be awesome. And it would end up as a world much like Arena that could be in constant evolution.

On a side note about the destruction of the Isle, with the meteor like smashing Vivec, which is a coastal city, it should be now a submarine ruin with a design much nearer the cratter that is present in the mexican Gulf. With the explosion of the Volcano filling part of it.
And Unless some plague is still oozing there or the volcani is still spewing lava constantly 160 years is enought for nature having taken over and it being a new, savage, unknow country/place.

Infernal city is just a book designed to destroy Morrowind to shut up the Morrowind lover.
It would be awesome tough, to see repercution of the disaster in books around skyrim, 2 such events would spread geografic climatic consequences to all Morrowind (probably razzing it) and all lands nearby point zero. And probably major religious problems all acroos Tamriel.
It would be interesting hearing about the chaos (added to the already unstable situation arising from the lack of emperor and a really weak empire) it spreaded across all Tamriel continent.

Well the Argonians of BLACKMARSH conquered MORROWIND and therefor I'd say MORROWIND is a part of BLACKMARSH....

Caps and underline does't mean anything, Vvardenfell and most of Morrowind is covered in ash after red mountain exploded all they did was drive out what was left of the Dunmer.

Making Morrowind their property... and the fact that its 50 feet tall layers of ash and old destroyed ruins would make it an excelent addition to the swampy Argonia... if a TS game ever come out in Blackmarsh they atleast gotta make Morrowind an expansion and please don't say "we've already been to Morrowind" 'cuss it would be an entirely new place...

Not really. Before The Infernal City the Imperials had conquered all of the provinces, does that mean that all the provinces were part of Cyrodiil up until after Oblivion? The provinces are still technically separate, just both are controlled by the Argonians now.

Wow, who does he think he is? SquareEnix?, telling others that they can't use his stuff for non profit reasons. What a joke. Modders that don't share are hypocrites, and just not very nice. They will use Bethesda's stuff, but others can't use theirs,ha! Good things Beth does not think like they do, unlike SquareEnix and so many other company's.
