Turret Durability?

How easy will turrets be to kill? One of my biggest issues with Team Fortress 2 in the past was working to have a fully upgraded turret only to have it blasted to all hell in a few hits.

I wouldn't expect them to be much more durable then tf2 turrets tbh, then again in tf2 players have alot more explosives.

Also worth noting, you shouldnt cross you fingers for them to be nearly as effective as in tf2.

Yeah I know their arc is much more limited and they more for closing off flaking options than anything else, I just hope they don't get blown up incredibly easy. I'd rather they have low damage and high health than vice versa.

If they did little damage then you'd never be able to get any kills with them, and if they didn't have enough health they'd be dyng before they could get fully set-up. The trick here is to make sure that their purpose is being fulfilled, which I'm sure would be to create blockades or effectively hold down a choke point. I'm sure that splash damage will figure out a way for this to work effectively without it being OP or UP, but the real question is whether or not it requires an engi's constant attention to maintain operation like TF2s engi does? (i.e. ammo and health)

Same and good point.
Also the objective here (in Brink's new approach of things) is not the kills,so turrets (i'm guessing) should be placed strategicaly to slow down enemy movement.

And i'm also certain that they do everything to keep all in balance.

In the latest gameplay you could see an Engineer deploying a turret and after it receives about 5 hits it's already changing to the "damaged" model.

I'm assuming the Lv. 1 turrets are less durable then the
LV. 3 GATLING TURRETS!!!

I think there's a bit of time between the clip where he puts the turret down and where it gets damaged.
