I just returned from grocery shopping to find that my brother's girlfriend, Kathy, apparently attacked you on Facebook. I had no idea any of this transpired while I was away, and I hope you know I am not siding against you... I understood what you said--Kathy is a hot-head and she misunderstands people frequently. She and I have gotten into it plenty of times because she is short-tempered and too quick to jump to the wrong conclusions. She speaks before she thinks, and is often too harsh in her speaking....

I hope we can still be friends--here and on Facebook. I feel really awful that this happened, and I don't want Kathy and her thoughtlessness to chase you away. I know what it's like to be attacked for speaking up, and I stand with you. Please, come back!!!

She's my brother's girlfriend, and she is nice, but she is easily offended and jumps into hyper-defense when she perceives a threat to her emotional security...

I have no idea what's going on, but this OP made me go "awww" all the same. Hope Everett comes back and you unfriend Kathy's ass or whatever.

If Everett is a member here, I'd suggest PMing him. A thread like this will likely get locked.

Agreed, this would be better off taken to PM. I don't see much reason for this to be on the open forums.

He is and I tried, but he doesn't have PMing ability for some reason, and I can't even leave him a message on his profile. I feel really awful that all this happened without me knowing. I could have and certainly would have intervened if I had only known what was going on! Kathy is family, but she can be really unfair at times...

Can you not get a hold of him on FB?

How the devil can your brotehr's girlfriend have this much of an opinion about someone you can only access electronically? :blink:
