1. Dungeons.
- First of all the dungeons all seemed to light when you consider the few light sources, I would much prefer that (execpt for the ocassional torch and lantern) most dungeons were completely lightless... Walking down black corridors just hearing the sound of bones crunching together when your torch goes out... and once you get a new one turned on the undead is already upon you... of course most creatures who live underground are nocturnal (I ain't sure about spiders but I've seen them run away when I turned on the light) and every bandit hiding deep within a dark cave worth his own loot would carry a torch or lantern and mostlikely also have put up some candles, this would add a mayor disadvantege for two-handed weapons and therefor two-handed weapons might need to be made stronger than regular ones.
2. Nights and seasons.
- Barely any difference between night and day light, 'nor difference between the seasons... wouldn't it make sence for it to get darker MUCH faster the 10. of frostfall than the 2. of seed? I'm hoping for drastic changes here, with night light much darker and in some months it becoming so dark that even with torches you cannot see much more than a few feet ahead...
3. Spells.
- The light spell couldn't do what I think anyone with a brain would have used it for and the nighteye effect (in Oblivion(, Morrowind had it fine and I've never cast it in Daggerfall or Arena)) made it harder to see in most casses. First of all here's how I would prefer the light spells to work: a cast on target does not requirre a target, simply as soon as it hits something it should light up, I mean your in the middle of a dungeon, now what would you do? Make yourself a living torch and a target for every creature or "Place a lamp" (cast the light spell like I want it)? The nighteye I simply want changed to work like in Morrowind. And finally I hope for a dark spell (I remember hearing something about this being a (*Somewhat*) included spell in Oblivion but being left out for some reason.
4. Weather.
- Lets say a thunderstorm hit you, wouldn't it be cool for this to create a unique blue-ish light?
5. More than just torches.
- In Oblivion you couldn't carry candles and lanterns, which kinda svcked... I hope that for Skyrim Lanterns have a (lot) wider range than torches, and that once more candles come in many different colours.
6. A spell suggestion.
- Remember in Namiras quest you gained that spell which put out torches? I want a spell like that allowing us to put out all torches (and other light sources)...
7. Finally wouldn't it be cool if there were burnt out torches hanging on old abbandoned walls inside dungeons? And if you could re-light them but after a while they died out again?
I was nice enough to include THIS POLL IS BIASED!!! as an option so you won't have to write it.
