Night-Eye in Silver Light Mine

Post » Sat Aug 07, 2010 4:31 am

While on my way to Jacobstown, I found a couple of mines I am exploring. When I ran into a group of Cazadors in Silver Light Mine, my vision (before ever being touched, mind you) changed, making a blue overlay on the screen like how Night-Eye looks in Oblivion.

I don't have anything listed in EFF on my pi(m)p-boy and I don't have the Person of Night perk (and I know it doesn't make the screen blue anyway). Is this some sort of special effect while only in this cave? They had the same blue vision in FO3 in the vault with the psychotics being pumped through the air-system, and that one also just went on and off without any indication that it was intended and I thought that was a bug too, until I found out it was making me hallucinate. Just wondering if anyone knows if that is the case here.

IIRC the cave is kinda blue.

If it helps go with it, some of the dark places are seriously dark in this game.

I opted for the night vision perk and it doesn't seem to be consistent but it's useful when it kicks in.

I have experienced both silver and blue tint at random times. They went away after a while so I didn't put much thought into it...

After I killed the Legendary Cazador in there, it made the chem-has-worn-off effect and the blue tinge went away.

I am guessing it was part of the cave or something. It was pretty damn dark in there after it went away. If it hadn't come on, I probably would not have been able to see well enough to fight the guy and perhaps the devs realized that...

Strange though.
