Not sure if this is the official stance per say, but the Game Website is saying that the release is the 13th in the UK.

My local store, however, is saying not until the 20th.

If anyone works in Game here, can they confirm/deny said date conflict please?

Well.. The official date is 13th, and they work in the damn gaming industry, they must be notifed or atleast look this up?

I wouldn't worry to much, if you're still wondering.. You could go down there and ask, and if he/she says 20th, slap them in the face and say ''NO 13TH'' over and over again

Yeah, it is coming out on the 13th, They should be releasing it on the 13th.

They probably aren't paying attention and will receive the game on may 13th, like all other gamestores here in Europe.

Don't worry, if you pre-ordered they'll let you know friday, that it's in.

Now, here's another Q. Based on pre-ordering, if in Europe, I can pre-order up until the 12th can i not? Even if the US one is released on the 10th.

Yeah, I think so

Why stop the pre-orders in one region becuase one starts?

But.. As I said, I think so only - Pre-orders are usually before the game is shipped, so they know around how many to order so they don't order too few, or too many

your game must be reallllly obscure because my store has a massive sign saying 13th on its window and a large carboard cut out instore aswell , + a entire shelf full of brink and witcher 2 boxes , i suggest you make a print off from game.co.uk of the release date along with a steamy turd and tell em to do a better job.

Where exactly do you live man?
I'm in the middle of nowhere (Devon), where time runs backwards, and we still have the correct date!
I used the internet anyway though, just as, sometimes, we get the games earlier by like a day.

I think your problem is that the original plans were the 20th, but I believe hearing in an interview that thanks to all the hard work, they were able to push it up a week.

The original release date was the 20th, but the developers bumped it up a week.

It's outrageously rare in the video game industry to make your release date eariler, and they might have thought it was some idiot trying to convince them to release the game early.

I pre-ordered mine online as i can't go to the store to collect games on a friday cause of college -.- Anyway, no idea whats up with your game, i guess you should print off something from the website to prove it to them or something.

Thing is I pretty much guarantee all stores have their stock of Brink already. The store he is trying to buy from may just never have been told that it will come out may 13th. If thats the case than I won't be surprised if they release it on the 20th for that store
