I have a problem with my mod

Post » Sun Aug 08, 2010 6:53 am

hi i have made a mod but I can not see it in the game even though I have ticked off my courage in OblivionLauncher.

I have also tried:

change location inside the game to see if it works
use Oblivion-mod-manager
create a new mod
reinstall Oblivion

and only then do not ask about it with my computer then:

If it's something you placed, then you might need to use a clean save from before you ever visited the location.

Also, if you made it in the 1.2.404 version of the CS, you need the 1.2.0416 version of the game in order to load the mod correctly.

I've tried to install the 1.2.0416 from The-Elder-Scrolls website but the only thing I get out of it is that the installer installs some of what it must
but when it gets to update OblivionLauncher comes with an error message when you can only press an "OK" button and then
close the program then you start Oblivion up and discovers that all grass is purple.

how to install I saw 1.2.0416 version of the game correctly?

If it's erroring and giving you purple landscape, you need to replace the shaders folder with the original.

If you installed shader type mods with OBMM you can uninstall them. If not, you can download the http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20348 from TESNexus.

If the Oblivion.exe file has been altered, you will have to fix that as well. Use the Autopatcher to restore it (instructions in download): http://obse.silverlock.org/download/autopatcher_0001.zip

I have solved it. I just had to reinstall Oblivion with my CD and then install Oblivion_v1.2.0416UK.

so it works :) thanks :D
