So what happened to Jason Bright?

Spoilers ahead

So I sent Jason off on the Great Journey in the quest Come Fly With Me about 3 days ago. What happened to him?? Did he me make a safe landing??? Or will I find some crashed REPCONN rockets out in the wastes?

Did you reconfigure the rockets to fly toward their destination?

You needed Science 55+ to do so - and just before you launched them.

That's not what it says at all.

It states you can reprogram the rockets to land 15% closer to their destination. Assuming they're going to another planet, 15% could mean the difference between landing into their destination or into a world with an atmosphere that would kill them the moment they left the ship. Or it could simply mean you got them killed by setting the destination to a star.

Basically, you don't see the results of their voyage, assuming you didn't sabotage it. For all we know, they could be in China.

I hope we find out were they went in a DLC or future Fallout game as an easter egg. That would be cool

You hear nothing further about it. At least without improving the nav systems. The only mention in the epilogue is that some of the Bright Followers return to help Novac out. So either they have a way there and back or they survived the crash.

I don't remember who or when, but just after the Come Fly With Me quest, someone in Novac commented on how they were lucky none of the rockets crashed into the town. Could mean the crashed nearby, or it could mean the took off just fine, I don't know, this is the only other thing I've heard about it though.

Does New Vegas have anything to say about it? I don't have the radio on in game most of the time.

I could've sworn one of the rockets swirled out of control the last second after take-off lol.

It looked to me that 2 of the rockets were going to hit each other right after take off or least that is what the con trails led me to think. If I was a betting man I would wager they did not make it though I did try my best to help them.

Crazy? Yes. Observant? Also yes.

He spotted the nightkin slaughtering the cows at night. He's not blind, just nutty.

Also, those rockets didn't look like they were going anywhere far....

No-Bark actually has useful info, la chupacabra with automatic weapons...I laughed at, and for figuring out who the culprit is in One For My Baby.

Did they make it? Not in my game. I may be a nice guy and all but don't mess with us humans you crazy messed up rotting meat bags! I helped make sure those rockets didn't go any where.

However had they made it to space they probably would have either:

1) Starved due to lack of food
2) Frozen to death when the energy in the rockets gave out
3) Missed their mark and flown off in to the void of space never to return
4) Exploded upon landing
5) Become feral due to the radiation in space. OH! SPACE ZOMBIES! I bet they turned into space zombies.

What does No-Bark have to do with Radio New Vegas? And for that matter, what does the airplane have to do with REPCONN? The airplane is The Lady from Lake Mead, flown by Boomers.

they come back to help the town after the battle
they rescue the people from caeser if you went that way

if you sided with ncr house etc
they will enforce the towns defenses and stay independent

if you sabatoge the rockets then YOU have doomed Novac
and ignoring the quest the town is also detroyed

in other words in this game your actions have reperocussions

and by destroying them you will also destroy the town

that what the radio says that they have seen several airplanes flying over that area
and it seemed they got that info from no bark
i believe they say no bark is a little off his rocker
so yes nobark would call them planes , not rockets
