Does any one know if they will be back. My guess is yes, but there will be much fewer of them. I am going to miss those cute little critters. On another note there should be a huge variety of creatures. So many that you won't encounter every single one for a long long time. Of course some of them would be sub genres such as goblin matriarch or lich king. (they have to look an act differently though!)

Hmm, snowcrabs?

I'm not a lore expert but I don't think that mudcrabs could live in the cold climate of skyrim. Since the coast of Skyrim is the far north with icy waters.

I'm with Gandler on this. Although we may get some down on the banks of the river and the two lakes in the Rift.

I'm guessing we'll see them, and slaughterfish, they seem to have become a bit of an Elder Scrolls tradition. Of course, there's climate to consider as well, I suppose, were there any mudcrabs in Solstheim? It's been too long since I've been there to remember. Since it's a similar climate, whether mudcrabs can survive Solstheim might tell us whether they can handle Skyrim as well.
