That "Can You Run it" has too often times been wrong with anolyzing system specs for games. I wouldn't trust any of those sites really.

In my opinion, pre-2006 games will run fine. That integrated GeForce 7100 is your major weak spot where a simple $50-$75 video card upgrade would make a world of difference. Source-based games like Half Life 2 are hardware friendly, so you might get some medium settings out of it maybe. The Diablo games should run fine.

Shadow of Chernobyl (the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R.) minimum requirements are Pentium 4 2GHz, 512MB RAM and 128MB Geforce 5700/Radeon 9600. Otherwise good, but you may need a dedicated video card. Call of Pripyat (the latest S.T.A.L.K.E.R.) has slightly higher requirements.

You just found out in your OP and Tig said a $50-70 video card upgrade should open the door to better games a bit, provided your power supply is of enough watts to support the new card.

Did you and Tig Ol' Bitties get into an argument causing you to purposefully ignore him?

My solutions are quick and dirty - they involve zero use of brain power and are hugely popular with my fans. Tig Ol Bitties' solution is of a much more purist and cerebal nature, something which alienates the knuckle-dragging Neanderthals that make up our peers. As a fellow proto-Man creature myself, I find that sometimes providing a ready made 'black box' solution is much better than a true fix to the problem. From the way the OP worded his question and his username indicates that a simple solution would be the best course of action.

I played Titan Quest on an old Pentium 4 3ghz(single-core) at 1600x1200 resolution with an AGP video card w/only a wee bit of lag here and there. Diablo2 or Torchlight will also definitely be fine. But yes, even a cheap graphic card upgrade would greatly improve the experience.

Run it? Sure. But you'll be turning down quite a lot of settings to play it.
