Reinhardt's Regiment

"GIVE ME BACK THE DAGGER!" Shouted a Dunmer the band of men. He sprang up from the large tree that he was hiding from and clearly had a look of anger upon his face. "Tis mine and I ain't no bandit, knave, thief or criminal." He stepped out from behind the tree, sheathing his copper bladed weapon and picking up the pack. "Who in Azura bloody hell are you?" He asked, walking towards the leader and snatching his ornate ebony dagger out of his hands and putting it back in the sheath behind his back.

Oh great... just what I need, a dark elf with their usual arrogant attatitude! Trannigan thought to himself and rolled his eyes out of view of the elf. I'd much rather it just be bandits to deal with...

"If your imperial immigration officers, then I have my documents right here, in my pack." He said and handed the leader the document that explained everything, his date and place of birth, age, ethnicity, and name and profession.
"Go on, read it, You'll see that everything is in order..." Adam said again.

The Argonian Fier stepped out from the group and responded calmly to the Dunmer. "We are not immigration. And if that's the only thing you're worried about out here, then you need to rearrange your priorities. We are mercenaries."

The elf gave the lizard a cold glare when hearing that answer, and retorted in turn, "My priorities are straight, uh... Sir? I'm a mercenary too, well on my own right now, I've picked a few on-going contracts and I'm looking for a publisher for my book, my best hope is in Chorrol right now. And might I ask; If 'you people' are not immigration officers, and just a bunch of lowly mercenaries, then what are you doing all the way out here?" He then stared at Reinhardt, trying to give off a tough expression, probably in hopes of either intimidating or impressing the nord.

Trannigan gave a small, mocking chuckle when he heard the elf refer to them as "lowly mercenaries" and spoke to the elf "Lowly mercenaries eh? Did ya not just get through saying you too were a mercenary? Or perhaps that was just a lie and you are attempting to hide what you really are. Considering the fact we found ya just a few feet from this tree I would guess ya might just be one of the bandits trying to play the part of an innocent bystander."

Adam looked at him.
"Bandit? I'm here hunting a bandit myself, a bandit leader. His name escapes my mind at the moment, but he sounds like a huge barbaric, mead drinking savage, to me." Adam said, glaring at the Nordic leader and then the rest of the group. "The contract is right... oh blast, where in the ashen ancestors graves are they?" He said again.

Adam walked up to the argonian and the khajiit. "You would be slaves right now.." He said, he then walked back to Reinhardt, "Why aren't these wild beastfolk have any collars or bracers on them, no chains... you should watch them, when you least expect it they will kill you in your sleep, best watch out for them, and where did you buy them? I'm suprised you let them walk around with swords and armor... pahh' Adam said.

He walked in circles, pacing and awaited and answer.

Cordus Leon

Cordus listened quietly as the group ran into a fellow 'mercenary'. Or at least, that's what he called himself. To Cordus, he seemed more like a little kid trying to play ball with the big boys. But Cordus was still content to just let the rest of the group deal with the kid, but then he went and insulted Juhanor and Fier the Argonian, insinuating that they were slaves. Cordus hated when people dissed his buddies, and especially hated slavery. And so he said loudly, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, dude! They aren't slaves! They are our friends, and they are easily 10 times more badass than you could ever be! So back off, dude, or we'll just, like, ... deport you ... or something."

By then end of his little rant, he voice had decreased in anger and in volume, but he was still serious. Him and Juhanor went too far back for anyone to just walk along and insult him, or at least while Cordus was around. He crossed his arms, satisfied that he had stood up for his friends adequetly.

Juhanor - Clearing

Juhanor had been standing behind the rest of the group, half-listening to the elf they had found skulking about in the forest. The Cathay was mainly paying attention to the woods that encircled the clearing. If this Dark Elf keeps up this racket, we might have some trouble... The elf had been ranting loudly; Juhanor was concerned that his shouting would alert any person, friend or foe, who would be nearby. As he observed their surroundings, Juhanor noticed that the Dunmer had walked closer to his location, as well as Fier's.

"You would be slaves right now." said the Dunmer. He turned to address Reinhardt, "Why aren't these wild beastfolk have any collars or bracers on them, no chains... you should watch them, when you least expect it they will kill you in your sleep, best watch out for them, and where did you buy them? I'm suprised you let them walk around with swords and armor... pahh." Ah... this explains many things; like why this Dark Elf is such a pompous renrij.

Cordus, who had been letting the others deal with the renrij Dunmer, quickly leaped to Juhanor and Fier's defense. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, dude! They aren't slaves! They are our friends, and they are easily 10 times more badass than you could ever be! So back off, dude, or we'll just, like, ... deport you ... or something," exclaimed the bard.

Juhanor took this opportunity to speak up as well. "This one isn't a slave, and neither is Scales. By Baan Dar, Juhanor has brought justice to so many renrij slavers over the years, and you know what this one has learned?" Juhanor walked in front of the Dunmer's path, blocking him from moving forward. "They are just as mortal as anyone else, and that means they die just the same, too. You'd better watch yourself, scum."

Fier had encountered racism several times over his life, and wasn't at all surprised by it anymore. So, instead of the usual response, he opted for something a little different, cocking his head and baring his teeth in amusemant. "Oh? What's this? A racist Dunmer with an undeserved sense of self-importance? Get a good look everyone, you don't see these too often anymore!"

Adam looked at the Khajiit standing in his way, then to the Argonian, then the man,

"Deport me if you will, I have many ways to sneak across your weak borders and back into this land. 'Bad-ass' as they might look, they look like they can handle themelves in a fight. - And you, curr, call em scum? I beg to differ, And I will watch myself, If i have any moon sugar or skooma on my person then I'll be sure to hide it. and the 'Scales' better watch himself, as well as you two, and this one blocking my way." He shoved the cat out of his way and started walking. "A racist, more like an idealist, you want to know about me, read the papers I handed your Barbaric leader. And you all take a good, hard loooong look. For when I come back, I'll have the head of a bandit leader in my hands." He said and walked off towards and Ayleid ruin not far from the area.

Cordus Leon

Cordus watched the Dunmer walk away towards the ruins were the bandits was camping out, and laughed at his claim that he was going to kill the bandit leader all by his lonesome. "Anybody else think we should just let that guy die?" he said, his head tilted to the side slightly.

Juhanor - Clearing

The Dunmer shoved past Juhanor and left the clearing. "Anyone else we should just let that guy die?" asked Cordus, as the elf walked away. "This one isn't going to try and help the bastard," Juhanor brushed off his shirt where the elf had touched him, "and Juhanor might even be the one who does the killing."

"Anyways.... Juhanor thinks we should wait for that renrij to distract the bandits, then swoop in afterwards and clear out anyone that is still alive," Juhanor brought up, "this one doubts that he is going to be able to take on a whole ruin's worth of bandits, along with this Svog guy."

OOC: Damn you guys were busy this weekend while I was gone lol, glad to see this section active again. ^_^ Sorry I haven't been posting, been hanging out with a friend. I'm still there but I'm gonna make a quick post now before I get even farther behind lol.

IC: As Trannigan listened to The dark elf and the others bicker at eachother, Trannigan had to resist the strong urge to cut the elf down where he stood. He was now regretting joining up with he regiment now that he and the others had to deal with such an arrogant individual. If the gods decide to favor me though, that ashborn piece of guar dung will fall in battle.

"Anybody else think we should just let that guy die?" he said, his head tilted to the side slightly.

"This one isn't going to try and help the bastard," Juhanor brushed off his shirt where the elf had touched him, "and Juhanor might even be the one who does the killing."

Trannigan walked closer to his 2 comrades and the Argonian Fier and answered them. "I am all for letting that [censored] be our bait. Atleast then he could be considered useful by those other than himself."

Adam had walked down to the ruins, He seen two bandits doing sentry duty by a fire away from a staircase leading to the entrance. He snuck up and kicked a rock and it landed on another rock and the two bandits got up and looked at the dunmer. Adam stopped and looked at them, He pulled out his copper blade and his dagger. He threw his ornate ebony dagger and it hit the leg of an imperial bandit and he fell to the ground yelling and he rushed the Nordic bandit and he punched Adam's back like a hammer.
Adam ducked as the nord swung his arms and Adam ended the life of the imperial, yelling 'DIE CURR!!!' when he took his dagger out of his leg and shoved it under the neck of the imperial and killed him. He turned his attention to the Nord who grabbed a war axe and started to swing violently. Adam decided to fight dirty and kick his crotch, the nord didn't go down, he smiled.
"Ha ha ha... those got cut off on my last heist you small elf!" He said to him, "Damn!" Adam yelled as he fell to the ground when the nord punched him in the chest, hitting the chainmail under his shirt. He started to crawl away, his sword had flown from his hands near the fire, he reached for his elven short sword and got up, he slid through the grass and mud as the nord swung at him, then Adam cut his ankle, he fell to his one knee screaming. Adam found his copper blade and plunged it into the back of the nord, the nord fell down and Adam started moving the sword in circles in the barbarians back and he screamed.

"You know how much I love the screams of a nord? IT makes me NIGHT HAHAHA!!! - I'd read you a farewell poem from my book but I'm gonna show your head to your leading, Svog." Adam spoke, he grabbed the nords battle axe and said; "Any last words?" - "I hope you die slow from our leader and then ra-" he spoke before being beheaded from the dark elf. "What was that? I couldn't hear you from the sound of your head coming off.." he said, He dropped his axe, sheathed his blades and picked up the nord bandit's head and walked back to the tree and where the group of mercenaries were.

He walked up to Trannigan, Cordus, Fier and Juhanor.
"I got you boys a gift" he held the head or a dead nord bandit infront of Cordus and brandished his blade in the arm.

Reinhardt had had enough of the little elf. He'd let him have his say, then watched him stalk off like a petulant little girl. He also noted the manner in which it had basely insulted two of his team members, deeply affronted the rest of the Regiment, and personally annoyed him. And he hated Dark Elves with a passion. A few minutes later, there was an ungodly clattering from a little further ahead, followed by distant crashing as the dun-skinned warrior strode back towards the group. "Follow my lead," he hissed to the others. The elf reappeared and dropped a Nord's severed head in front of Cordus. As the final sharp syllable of 'gift' snapped into place, so did Reinhardt's heavily mailed fist in a powerful uppercut into the elf's jaw.

He immediately followed through with his other hand, knocking "Adam" to the floor and pinning him by the throat. "Now, we got off on the wrong foot, followed by a hand. That's not good." He shot a glance at the head, which was grinning balefully at him in the moonlight. "And that's not Svog. Oblivion knows who that is." He tightened his grip a little, just enough to impede breathing ever so slightly. "Now, this is a big wood, full of bandits and pretty damn isolated. We can make uppity little arrogant bags of dung like you vanish, because when we get right down to it, I can be worse than those bandits over yonder in just about every. Single. Way."

"First way to prove you're not just the bastard spawn of a Dirt-Born prosttute and a disease ridden Guar would be to kiss the feet of Fier and Juhanor by way of apology." He gave a wry smile. "Try anything unexpected and I use my free hand to snap your wrists before I do your neck. Think carefully."

Adam layed pinned on the ground as Reinhardt told him the nord wasnt Svog.

"I know this isn't Svog, Svog from meeting him is a lot taller and stronger, this is a nord, lowly nord on sentry duty.. and nice way to hurt my jaw.. drunkard barbarian." He shoved him off and turned to Fier and Juhanor. "I think I owe you both an apology; 'Scales' I am sorry for how I treated you, and I guess you seem too good to be a slave if your a Merc, what is your name? - Juhanor. I do apologize, and I apologize to the rest of you, and if you all must know, I have a contract to fufill, Svog will die..." He said, shook the hands of everyone and gave Reinhardt a salute then made way to the ruins and picked up a peice of wood and decided to bash in the imperial bandits head for his own pleasure.

Adam decided to lay against the wall and await these mercenaries, he assumed they we're on the same mission as Adam. - Adam had recieved the contract in the Imperial City from a bosmer, who was looking for apparent 'Revenge'. - Adam sat down and took a breathe in and held his jaw.
