Back after nearly 2 years?

Post » Thu Aug 19, 2010 1:07 pm

So I've had Oblivion uninstalled for bloody ages now and chose to reinstall it today out of boredom (a lot of free time now that I've finished college for the year).

I remember when i used to play it I had a large selection of mods loaded up, ranging from FCOM overhaul, random improvement mods and small quest mods.

I was hoping people could hook me up with a list or suggestions of things that you would all define as must haves including things such as small add-ons/improvements, texture replacers etc if anyone has time to do so, as I cant really remember any names or websites that are good for finding mods out.

Im not on the best rig recently due to my old good one dying and then being tight on money to replace it well, so my current rig specs are 2gb ram, vista home basic, dual core 2.4GHz processor and an nvidia 8500GT (forgot the vram amount). I will be trying to improve these specs as and when I gain money, but for now anything you suggest will have to be able to work on something like this.

Thanks in advance and for reading :)

Not to badger you (get it?) with a "google it" resposne, but c'mon, there is another thread on the front page with almost the exact same query as yours:

Here's your list of mods:

This website right here is pretty good for that. ;)

Check the list of lists thread that (at the moment) is probably still on the first page here.* That'd be a damn fine start.

The 8500GT with a dual core CPU should be fine. Just don't add *too* many graphics enhancers and AI tasks. :)

2GB RAM is enough, but 4GB is often better. Not that that info is much use to you right now, I know.

edit: totally :ninja: d.

* Nope, second page.

Welcome back! I know it...Oblivion always brings players back! For instance, I quit and joined Anonymous to protest the church of scientology for about 8 months back in 2008-2009. But I came roaring back!!!!
