Using DLC content in mods

Ok i know there was a thread like this before but i could find it anywhere so ill just ask here. If i take the KOTN cuirass, retex it and change the pauldrons and arms, do i still need KOTN as a requirement?

rats looks like i need to remove the honour guard cuirass's... have them dependant on knights... thx tofolo
