"Dogmeat was just annoying in Fallout 1. He had a [censored]load of AP and would make combat last forever. And he was useless in Fallout 3 without the Broken Steel glitch. He's really only good for the Firelance encounter.
Dunno if he is worthwhile in Fallout 2 though."
Okay, he wasnt really usefull in any of the games, but still, Fallout is an RPG. A genre in wich you should grow attatched to certain characters, not to mention the extreme nostalgic feeling i get when discovering dogmeat in each game, and i too used the glitch where you kill dogmeat to get another companion (usually Charon and Clover, I usually play through with neutral karma or good karma, but i am a guilty slaver, wich i hate to say, but i feel no remorse for the enslaving of children and wastelanders) but after i did that i always felt bad, espiccially sents i would often come across dogmeat's corpse again, and again, and again. So, dogmeat always, rex was cool i guess, but i prefer dog meat.
