looking for Interior lighting mod

Post » Wed Aug 25, 2010 2:52 pm

A while back I found a video or picture showing the interior of shops and homes where the interior lighting was changed so pretty much the only light came from the candles and not a fake light source floating in the middle of the room. The mod made rooms darker because the only light was from candles but it made things look more real to me. I thought this would work but it still looks too bright to me http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10891

Can anybody help me out?

yeah - Real Lights is what you're looking for. then, you'll probably need to adjust your lighting intensities in your oblivion.ini file. do a search on these forums and you'll find some recommended .ini adjustments depending on whether you're using HDR or not.

If you use All Natural and the Real Lights version merged into it, I think the brightness issue is reduced some. You will also find INI tweak suggestions for that purpose in the AN thread.

All Natural - http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18305 <-- do not use the original mods with this
Let There Be Darkness - http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22819

tweaks for reasonable HDR:

10) Reducing HDR exposure
HDR is sweet, but a little overpowering inside. Set the following under [BlurShaderHDRInterior] only:

fBlurRadius=6.0000 (default 7.0000)
fBrightScale=1.7500 (default 2.2500)

took them from here: http://www.atomicmpc...u/Feature/36546,optimising-oblivion-v20.aspx/3

someone please save this info somewhere

I completely forgot about this thread. All Natural looks like what I'm looking for from the screenshots in the thread. I'll have to try it out.

After a little bit of trouble because I'm an idiot I was able to get AN to work and the mod looks awesome.
