Crash while nearing Kvatch

Hello,

My game keeps crashing when i get near Kvatch and its always at the exact same spot where it crashes.

I notice you have Vaults of Cyrodiil, Clocks of Cyrodiil & better cities. BC contains replacers for both of these, so they need to be deactivated (if they arn't already, that is).

I'm no expert and can't help you any more except to say when posting your LO you should:
Go into Wrye Bash> right click on list mods & paste that into the forum. (As it contains more detailed info on your setup & has the spoiler tags added to save our poor mouse wheels!)

EDIT: Clicking on the mod checker in Wrye Bash may reveal a few things you need to take care of....it did for me anyhow.

Mismatched Version esm and esp could be the problem.

Replace your OOO.esp (1.33 version) with one from the 1.34 Update rebuild bash patched wait x amount of days and see if problem continues..

Update to UOP 3.2.7

Update Harvest Flora to 3.0.1 - redownload to make sure has version tag was never updated ..

If nothing happens that's a good thing! It just means there are no issue's that the mod checker can pick up. When you say nothing do you mean a report window open with nothing in it yes? If so that's fine. The more detailed LO can be put in a more forum friendly format if you wish just enter this without the spaces :
[ s p o i l e r ] Your LO [ / s p o i l e r ]

I would like to help you more but I'm a noob myself so anyone else wanna take a shot??

It'a already been pointed out, but I figured I'd specify more clearly - in your case #16 is the one you want to keep, it's a total replacement ESP for #15. You are running the game with duplicate clocks everywhere.

4C xuldarkforest.esp [Version 1.0.3]

The last two version updated for this solved some crash bugs, not Kvatch related, but you may as well update that (and any other ULs too) in order to eliminate more problems.

Those mods are needed to play Kvatch Rising. Its a new Kvatch mod which looked better then Aftermath and Rebuilt.
I looked at deactevating this mod, but no result. The game still crashes near Kvatch.
Ill look into updating the things you guys recommended and ill post back if it helped or not.

This kind of sounds like the Maiq AI bug, though UOP 3.2.7 is in place...

Well... i updated the mods and it still crashes

Edit: I found problem.. the hot fix of UOP 3.2.7 is causing the crash. I find this very weird though.
Going back to previous version of UOP fixed the problem for me

I just had a similar problem with a new game and isolated it to UOP 3.2.7.

Started out in Anvil traveling towards Kvatch following the road. When approaching Gottshaw, the game would always crash, even with UOP as the only mod active.

I removed the following change mentioned in the readme from the hot fix:

* Enabled the legion patrol rider at Gottshaw that was disabled for unknown reasons.

This fixed the problem, strange indeed...

Hmm maybe that's reason of the famous crash near Anvil/Kvatch/Skingrad

Well, im glad there is a solution to fix this, though i dont know how to remove that particulair change.
Ill wait for the next hotfix and see if the change is reversed

Use TES4Edit. Find the NPC's Gottshaw inn area cell, and disable the guard's placement. In order to get the block and subblock for the cell 1) launch the game and go to the area near the inn 2) open up the console and look at the cell coordinates in the top-left corner (if they are not there, use the console command 'sdt 2') 3) use http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5703 to find the corresponding block and subblock for those coordinates 4) launch TES4Edit (making sure that at least the UOP is checked), and expand the corresponding block and subblock in the WORLD branch of the UOP. 5) Search the subblock for the a reference placing the guard, and disable it.

And that's the UOP Changes for 3.2.5 - before the Maiq AI changes!

I feel for you. I have the same exact problem. Only way to avoid it is to run UOP 3.2. Hotfix 325, 326, and 327 crash at exact same spot. I tried with no mods, just vanilla and UOP to verify. You are the 3rd person I know of that has the problem. I gave up and attribute it to some curse.

The Mai'q patch does not help.

I run Win7 Pro 64bit.

I tried on a WinXP 32 bit install also on same computer with same result.

SO it has to be a cursed machine.

As this is VERY rare, unklikely anyone will find an answer. If someone does they should be awarded some reward for sure.

The guard issue is a separate issue from the (possible) AI bug. I had the going from Skingrad to Anvil problem before the "Supplemental" releases. Did you try the disabling the guard?

I would but that IS WAY OVER MY HEAD. I have vacation coming up so may give it a shot. However, since 99.99999% of the people do not have the issue I still think ii is related to my specific hardware. Ca't think of any other explanation except the curse.

You already found the record, and that is the hard part. I think that the flag record is one on which you can right-click and the flags will be listed. You can just choose disabled from there. Another cheap way to go about it would be to delete the reference, and then use TES4Edits plugin cleaning command 'undelete and disable' afterward, haha. (Note: You do not want the record 'initially disabled', you want it plain 'disabled'.)
