After having progressed into the game a bit, though, I have discovered a notable graphic problem: in the goblin caves, the red points showing the locations of floor spiders are virtually invisible. Does anyone know of any dgVoodoo settings or anything else I can tweak to fix this? (I really want to continue on and play through the whole game, but I don't want to relive http://www.notdoppler.com/theunfairplatformer.php; those floor traps do 15-40 damage points a pop!)
