Like the title say i played for over 16 hour already with no big issue........ (Except for a rad scorpion falling thru the map and the Near NPC Framerate issue) i play on ultra with no issue....... but now its seem to randomly Crash to desktop when i load thru an area...... and its an area i never crashed before........

It is strange, but it is as it is. I had about 20 ctd on thursday in 3 hours playtime, and not a single one yesterday on wednesday in 4 hours playtime.

I have a topic somewhere here on page 1xx i think ( lol ) but actually no real solution for this cause there are no real symptoms why it sometimes does it a day completly instable and the next day stable.

Try disabling AA, test windowd mode and reduce water multisampling to minimum, thats a half-way stable configuration for me.

The bugs people hit again exist for nearly about 6 years now, from oblivion, morrowind over fallout 3 and now new vegas (always the same engine a bit modified) - don′t expect to get it fixed fast - or even ever ;)

I've experienced this. I've noticed I would CTD randomly, but if I loaded the nearest save game and go through the area the same as during the crash there was no problem. Happened a few times before I realized the cause: companions. If you have any companion following you "closely" and are running into a new area with a good bit of loading and the companion is trying to "catch up" by running very fast, 1/5th the time there will be a CTD or similar crash. I ditched the companions and am back to the "begining" stability I had for the majority of the game.

I took on veronica as a companion yesterday - very soon started getting lots of crashes which i didn't have before :( - so i'm going to leave her in my hotel room when i play tonight...... will see if that improves things...
