Are there any mods to make NPC look normal?

Post » Sun Sep 12, 2010 3:33 am

I know this has been asked a million times but I can't find any of those threads or the Mods psychics thread. Are there any mods that fix NPC face textures, it breaks the immersion for me sometimes when an NPC looks like a mutant. I'm not looking for a mod that makes everyone pretty but I want people to look realistic. There's a mod for Fallout 3 but is there one for Oblivion?

Have you looked at Tamriel NPCs Revamped?

Edit: For textures, I would recommend Improved Facial Textures.

(To the OP) This, Natural Faces, is an alternative to IFT. It does not modify characters' faces, shape or tone-wise.

TNR should be renamed to autismlivion. I tried that mod out with cobl and it made all of my NPCs look like Jay Leno.

Sounds like a faulty install to me. I'm using Cobl Races TNR and the NPC's are definitely not looking like Jay Leno.

While I admire the effort that went into TNR it's not my cup of tea either. I don't like what it does to Orcs much, and the heads of Argonians have funny shapes sometimes...

I guess I've grown too attached to the originals. :P

I'd also like some alternative faces to TNR's, as some of those are a bit extreme for my tastes.

Do quick snip with TESCS.

Edit: I would not mind some variation, but other face-changing mods make everyone too pretty, definitely not an option for me.
