Instead let me say it in the clearest terms possible: Soule and Zur svck at ambient compared to many popular artists/groups that are so good at it they make a living off selling their music directly to people rather than being commissioned to make soundtracks for video games. Spending more money would net a soundtrack the vast majority of players would enjoy more. Even you, and yes even if you disagree.

Sorry bud, you don't get to tell me what music I like or how much enjoyment I will receive. I actually like to play the Elder Scrolls without music on, it's much more immersive and helps me to get into the game much more. But I still have the sound files and absolutely love listening to some of the tracks from Morrowind and Oblivion apart from playing the games. It's truly amazing music to me, and yes even if you disagree
Oh and about the live orchestras and 5.1 sound, I do agree with you there. I believe that was on the developers end rather than the composers though, you know with funds and such. Soule even sells better quality soundtracks from the games.
