How do I receive the patch?

Post » Sat Sep 18, 2010 2:32 am

I keep hearing about a patch but I haven’t received anything over Live or any updates on my dlc menu screen. Am I missing something or do I need to do it myself on-line or somethin?

Sorry if this has been addressed but I couldn’t find anything. Thanks!

The only thing you have to do is connect ur xbox to live and then pop in ur game disk and hit play. It should tell you that an update is available for the game and give you the option to update or not.

Word. That’s what I thought but it hasn’t happened. Will it specifically say that it’s for New Vegas? I got some kind of Live “update” about a week ago but it didn’t mention anything about what it was for and I wasn't playing the game.

Are you logged into Xbox Live? I don't know if that's a necessity or just being connected is enough, but yeah when you start the game, you should get a prompt asking you to download an update that's 4MB. If you haven't by now, you might want to try clearing your cache (game and xbox's) and try again, or check to make sure you didn't accidentally do it already (or someone else, does anyone else play the game?)

No. My wife and I share a gold acount thats always on, but she never plays NV. I know how to clear the game cache but not the 360's. Thanks for the info.

Gonna sign on now and check again...
