I talked to the cook and got all the parts needed to fix the machine in the kitchen in the McCarren airport, but when I try to repair it it says I don't have all the nedded components. I checked my inventory and it's all there. I'm thinking there might be a misprint in the note you recieve or something. I'd hate to waste a Repair skill magazine to jury-rig it (Repair 90)

The cook guy that gives the quest mentions H H Tools. Go there and grab some of the required items. I had them all and it would not let me fix it either but after I went there and grabbed just a few of the needed items when I went back it let me fix it.

It's probably because the "can't sell stolen items to the same faction"-mechanic won't let you use NCR items to fix it with. I've levelled since posting and can now just jury-rig it with high repair skill. I'm gonna try that instead.

Same thing is happening to me.. I cant repair the thing with the spare parts.. I even went to the tool factory and now i have like double the parts needed and it still wont fix.. Must be another crappy bug

I had the same issue. Apparantly there are at least two different kinds of Pots. Only one works to fix the food processor. I took one from the kitchen at the base and it worked fine.

There was a post last night where some other people who had this issue blamed it on the Pots. I'd try that before anything else.

Does anyone know if supplying meats and then fixing the machine actually leads to anything? I haven't recieved caps or XP or anything apart from the thing mentioned in the spoiler above.

Im not sure, i cant fix the machine... Its not hard to go supply the meat tho just talk to the guy at the crimson caravan and he will trade meat and spices for the corn and veggies the chef has.. I managed to do that but cant fix the machine.. When i got the meat for the chef he just said thanks and nothing else. Since thsi isnt really a quest just a "note" im not hoping for alot after fixing the machine lol.. I think its more of a repuation thing for the NCR

I don't remember getting reputation and all the speech options on where to find the things are still available to me. I guess it bugged out.

I did discover however that when asking about spices, he says those eggheads down in the lab should look at it. They have no speech options about it, but when going to Vault 22 during the "High grass" or whatever-quest, you find some morale/mood lifting food additive which you can offer to the chef.
The research notes for the additive state that they're only been tested on animal mammels or something and that they need to test it on humans firstm but when you hand it to the chef you basically say it works flawlessly.
