Charity mod for dumb NPCs

This is a mod we can start now. Within the community is a staggering amount of knowledge of the lore of elder scrolls.

My suggestion is that we start to write the dialogue for the dumb NPCs of Skyrim. I don't mean quests, I just mean a conversation to have with them, a few unique sentences for some, a longer story for others of what happened in their lives.

And as we go, those that can work on the voice acting start practising the dialogue. We have months to get it right, we can just add the dialogue to oblivion to check it sounds good enough.

When the game comes out it will be quick to convert to a skyrim mod, apply the dialogue to the dumb NPCs and let everyone experience the world fully.

How many would we need? Maybe we just start by aiming for 100 dialogues, if we make it that far in time we keep going. Maybe devs can give us an idea of the proportion of the different races.

The community would vote for their favourite dialogues and these would be prioritised for the mod. The community would also vote for the best voice over of each dialogue to be included in the package.

Would you be interested in contributing a few topics and responses for a character?

Would you be interested in having a go at the voice acting?

I′m afraid it won′t be possible until Skyrim is out because... honestly anything can be happening but only what Bethesda decides will be canon, we can′t make dialogue about some war in Elsweyr for example unless Bethesda says there is one. I say let us leave it to Bethesda until the game is out.
