Sorry, bigcrazewolf, don't had a chance to look at new version for now- have problems with health. I fear I will need additional 1-2 days until I will be able to play. (

You can bet when Cev starts to mod with "Dead Money" it will be the exceptional work/magic he always makes

I have not played the Dead Money quests yet nor plan to for some time, so with out spoilers could you tell me if during the course of the Dead Money quests there are a lot of buildings you want to add interiors for or do you mean to use Dead Money assets when creating interiors in general?

Also how soon are you to release for NVinteriors(part 1)?

There are quite a few cool interiors in Dead Money but, just not enough. As always I wanted more places to explore and, was unsatisfied. (Not with the DLC itself, I would say it is one of the best Fallout DLC's, just the lack of interiors to dig around in, was my issue.) On top of how much I enjoyed the story, the art direction, cell and, worldspace design was simply beautiful.

I will never directly tie my main mod to any of the DLC's because, doing so would exclude anyone who doesn't have them. I will however be making Add-on packs, which will allow the users to choose if they want a more filled in Dead Money and, I'm even thinking about an Add-on to use Dead Money assets in certain locations. (I got so excited when I saw all of the "Art-deco" furniture, radios, I need to use them somewhere or I'll go mad! :banghead: )

I am really close to my first release of NVInteriors, I got myself distracted by Dead Money, then this week my job went into overdrive! :brokencomputer: All of this has set back my release but, I'm going to try to put a bunch of time in this weekend. I need to clean up some rough edges, fill in weights, values for all of the new custom clutter I've added and, a few other details.

I'm hoping I'll get it out by mid to end of next week, with luck by Friday at the latest.

thanks for your interest,

cev

Huh, and here i thought the Villa was complex to navigate as it is :lmao: looking forward to the release, your stuff for Fallout 3 was amazing :goodjob:

I am a bit worried that there may be minor compatibility issues with "A World of Pain", as that adds interiors to some buildings, but if they modify the same places the mod loading last should win. If i've learned anything of mod use. And i should've.

I'll take a look at the mod you mentioned, "A World of Pain" to insure compatibility issues. If I know about mods I will avoid them like the plague but, if users or, the authors don't bring them up to me I simply can't be held responsible for conflicts. As most of you know I like to move into a district and fill in every available building I can, :twirl: and, I do spend most of my time modding but, I don't run a heavily modded game, myself. Therefore, I may not know about other, popular mods which may be working in the same districts as I'm working in.

I'm not trying to take over the world, I just don't see the point in doing anything piecemeal!

Also, your quite wright the last loaded mod should win in the conflict, since all of my work needs to be in the .esm format this ensures they will live in the top portion of your load order. :wavey:

Guess, I'm always going to be the looser. :swear:

TBH, Dead Money is pretty labyrinthine already, I think adding more to it would just make it a nightmare.

World of Pain doesnt do much (if anything) to existing structures. It mainly adds cave entrances, vault entrances etc to rock walls. It also places a couple new buildings. But you should check if the mod places any dungeon entrances on already existing buildings because that might interfere with the entrances to your interiors. I didnt play World of Pain enough to know if there are any existing buildings affected, but as to now i havent seen any.

I thought that at first too, but after my exploring for a while I got to know the layout fairly well.
I don't believe Cev is referring to making new branches of the map to make more ways to go, but more like adding to the closed up buildings already there (there's quite a few), more places to explore.....the meat and potatoes of the Interiors projects. But of course this is my opinion and would never presume to speak for anyone :nope:

Hope your feeling  better, no worries about the delay. Glad to have you back and look forward to hearing from you.

For example the boarded up building at the gas station near Moajve Outpost, and two houses at Cottonwwod Cove. I'd imagine CevSteel will do something them himself. Mostly it's new dungeons, though.

DC Interiors was a great mod for FO3. I can't wait to see what you do with New Vegas.

I am anticipating this with much excitement - learning that a public release is not far off has put a smile on my face. I've put off playing Dead Money until I can start a new game with this installed
