Compared to some other games with tailed characters, Oblivion doesn't do that bad. And the ears move as a part of their expression, which is a nice attention to detail by Bethesda. Maybe for TES V they'll manage to get rid of the plastic-looking fur too.

Consider this as a glorified bump :D

Swishing tails would be cool. I've noticed that the tail animation gets messed up with some of the animation/posing mods. I'm guessing that would be worse with a custom tail idle animation.

At least the Khajiit and Argonian (and any other tail based on their skeleton) moves! All the canine tails are stiff and look bad. :/

Yeah, but it looks like crap with mods like CTAddPose or EFGAddPose. The tail rotates very fast in a 360 degree vertical pattern. Makes for some very lousy screenshots. I mean, those two mods (I have both active) are really cool, but the weirdness with the tail is really annoying.

Well without using any Pocahontas references you don't actually see the wind
you'd see how the wind has effects on other items such as the trees, grass and loose clothing such as cloaks.
It would just look a bit odd when trees are gently swaying in the light breeze while a cloak is thrashing about every so often.
Either way it's not really that much of a big deal just something that should be taken note of <.<

I think it would look kind of realistic. I mean if a creature has a tail and is wearing robe or cloak, wouldn't it make sense for it to move when the tail does?

Or am I missing something here?

I don't play PC so I don't really know how modding is.

1. CTAddPose is not one standalone mod, but rather a framework for pose mod. Any pose mod using CTAddPose framework is called CTAddPose_(Usually modder's name).
2. I think many pose/animation mods are made using tail-less skeleton, so it makes tails(and clothing pieces which are rigged with tail bone) stretched, or acting weird. If anyone adjust them with beast race skeleton, the tails would behave better.

I think no one is interested because the most are playing Elfes and Anime Chars without tail. <_<

UK47 said he's working - what news do you want more? Status updates? Progress reports? :hubbahubba:

How about just let him work on the mod instead of providing us all this? That would be faster for him, don't you think?

And don't hold your breath - not many modders do animations, and UK47 is really good at it too. So just be patient and grateful that somebody is doing it (and for free out of their own time too!). :goodjob:

I spend a lot of time for mods myself, i know that it needs time. But i posted some updates for the people which were waiting for it.

Indeed! I am still workin' on it, that's why I don't have the time to browse the forum daily and post news.
Beside, posting updates here would be pointless, I haven't even started workin' on the Khajiit Tail animation, it is not my priority at the moment, I will start working on it when I'm done with the other features I'm working on.
