I'm sure the person whose fate is to save the world from dragons would keep himself in shape. Having the option would just be gimmicky.

Mages can be fat, it not like they need to get very physical anyway.

If you run 20 or more km a day with almost a ton on your back, you are more supposed to get back ptoblems and feet problems...

I'd like the option. It'd be good to have in, if only for NPCs.

Makes for a fair deal of work, though.

I honestly think that the effort can be spent on better stuff, but I will keep advocating fat characters just to annoy the "everyone must look beautiful" crowd.

My guess is the fat will be completely limited to the face

Why would it?
The game isn't just about the main story.
People like to roleplay,if i wanna roleplay a fat farmer,i wanna do it,where is the harm in that exactly?
Also ,it looks like attributes may have gone ( not 100% sure ),but i looks that way.
So now defining how fast or strong your PC may be could be down to the custom options to your body etc ,at the beginning.

...or not. If attributes are gone, maybe the fat person can be just as agile as the skinny one, and just as strong the muscular person.
personally I think this is kind of stupid, but it could happen.
