Would you like to see Janus Hassildor again?

Post » Sat Oct 23, 2010 1:35 pm

I was wondering if we might see Janus Hassildor again. He could very well have survived the 200 year gap. Would you like to see him again? I know I would. He was a cool character. Even if he only has a cameo or something like that.

Don't really care. But yes... he was a cool character in OBLIVION.

Don't really see why so many want irrelevant things from previous games. Nostalgia much?

I'd much more prefer something very new for SKYRIM. If a thing is relevant from previous games, then sure, have it in. But if it's not, then no.

I don't understand why people always want to see some character from a previous episode again, but that doesn't mean I'm against it.

I'd rather have Divayth Fyr make a return.

I don't necessarily want him to have an important part or anything like that. Just a reference to him in a book, or in a overheard conversation or something like that.

That's not what you said in your poll question or your first post, though--you said you wanted to "see" him again, even if only in a cameo (indicating an actual appearance). That's why I voted no.

Not that I didn't like old Janus. I thought he was a cool character, too. But I'd like to see new characters in Skyrim.

(If there had been an "I don't really care too much" option, though, I would have probably voted that.)

Why would he travel to Skyrim? He seemed to take his position as Count of Skingrad very seriously, probably what kept him from giving in to his animal instincts like the other vampires.

This.

Hassildor is a long-lived (or are vampires even immortal?) person, just as all elves are long-lived persons.
He was a cool dude, but I couldn't care less if he does or doesn't make an appearence in Skyrim.

Sure, I'd like to see him, but only if he had a good reason for abandoning his position as Count Skingrad

I dont understand why people always want to see stuff from older games in a future game. I want it to be fresh with new characters and events.

Whats with all this "Would you like to see this person or that person again" threads? Its a new game just leave them out, what purpose would they serve.

Of course he would have stopped being the count after 200 years. Nirn society does not exactly look kindly upon vampires, y'know.

he was the COUNT of SKINGRAD. Skingrad is in Cyrodiil, NOT Skyrim. If he IS in Skyrim, it would likely break lore. He never leaves the castle and I doubt that Cyrodiil got completely WTFPWND in the last 200 years.

I would say that he would be too busy ruling Skingrad to make a trip upto Skyrim to hang with the Dovahkiin, that is of course if the people of Skingrad havent found out that he is a vampire yet and he has found some way to explain how he has lived for over 200 years. On that note he is now known as David Hassildor.
