Thoughts from Van Buren (canon?)

So in the design documents of Van Buren we have the city of new Canaan. THis was mentioned in the newest game, does that mean that New Canaan is now canon?

Any details in New Vegas can probably be considered canon but if there's no more than a name mentioned that isn't very much.

I ran some of Van Buren's locations into the GECK before and Denver and New Canaan are now definitely canon. But you have to remember that the only thing canon about them is the little that was said in New Vegas. We can't be sure if what was said about them in Van Buren was canon until that information is confirmed in a future game or DLC.

Much of Van Buren was cannibalized for this game, many of the NPC's that were to be there are hear. The Van Buren references aren't there because its cannon there in the game because New Vegas ate them.

In one version of Van Buren, the chief antagonist was a cryogenically frozen scientist named Victor Presper who still had access to plenty of pre-war technology. I'm pleased they revamped that idea with Mr. House.

I believe that the story in Van Buren was cannon, they just never made it.

Yeah and the end of VB was a fight on a space station that had like 3/6 nukes left. I think it was called BOMB. Or NUKE or something.
