Elisabeth Sladen Dies

Post » Wed Oct 27, 2010 7:20 am

I was sorry to hear this. Tom Baker was one of the best (if not the best) Doctors, but his tenure wouldn't have been nearly as good without Elisabeth playing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Jane_Smith. Very sad news.

What? Very sad news indeed...I hadn't heard she was ill, so this is quite the shock. :cold:

HOLY [censored].

I SO didn't see that coming. That's horrible, she was always one of my favorite companions from the original series.... :cryvaultboy:

And how did I miss Nicholas Courtney dieing, too? That's not too surprising, I suppose, but it's still sad. :(

At least Frazier Hines is still kicking around.

Completely unexpected and very sad; 63 is too young to go. I remember her fondly from my "hiding behind the sofa" years when Tom Baker was the Doctor. RIP. :(

So sad. Seeing her in the new Dr. Who with the Dalek attack made me glad she was doing well. She certainly was one of the best companions ever on Dr. Who.

Very sad, I grew up watching her, and my sons have grown up with Sarah Jane Adventures.

:(

Yeah, the brig died a few months ago.

also a shame in this is Tom Baker had finally been talked into doing some Big Finish stories, and Sarah Jane was supposed to be the companion.... :-(
