Hand to Hand weapons

Post » Sat Oct 30, 2010 12:18 am

Not sure if this was announced or not, but the problem I had with going hand to hand in Oblivion was that there was no way to deal extra damage because your weapons (your hands) couldn't have a sigil stone applied to them and you couldn't enchant anything to allow hand to hand strike buffs.

I never went Unarmed in Fallout because, well, guns. I always played a sniper and was commonly wasting enemies with a sneak crit at roughly the distance where they started rendering. I KNOW there were weapons in New Vegas (like boxing gloves, boxing tape and knuckle dusters made from dog tags), and something like a H2H weapon that involves wrapping your hands in tape or cloth can easily fit into something like TES.

So, if they aren't announced already. can we have some hand to hand weapons please?

It would be nice to have hand-to-hand WEAPONS. Oblivion had the Bands of Kwang Lao and the Hands of Midnight that were gloves that fortified hand-to-hand, but not quite the same thing.

I hope to see at least something as well. No way should my fist hitting your face with daedric gauntlets only deal the same amount of damage as if they were bare fists.

Sure, bring'em on. I always thought that knife-spike on Oblivion's Daedric gauntlets should have been good for something anyway. :D

Oh look, this post again.

Boosh!

At the very least they could just give gloves a damage stat, or make it based off of the armor rating. Something like 2x the AR would put most of the gauntlets on par or close to a dagger of the same material. Then give us the option to enchant gloves with an on attack enchantment or a defensive enchantment.
