What games are you playing?

Post » Tue Nov 09, 2010 2:44 pm

Final Fantasy VII. Mostly to finally do some things I've always ended up skipping before. Not sure whether that'll include Emerald and Ruby Weapons though.

If you go for the Ruby Weapon, morph cactuars ;)

Still playing NWN2, finally recovered from restartitis and made it chapter 2 :hehe: Also waiting for my copy of Portal 2 to arrive.

I'll be playing Fallout/2/Tactics once I get them to work. New Vegas sometimes, and maybe Dead Rising if I can ever look past its glaring ineptitude when compared with Dead Rising 2.

Um.. Mortal Kombat, Bf:BC2, Torchlight, BRINK, Dungeon Seige 2 and 3 (hopefully), Duke Nukem Forever, ugh there's too many games coming out between now and Skyrim... I can't buy too many because I know almost ALL my time will be spent playing Skyrim... Even BF3 will take a hit ... Well given it even comes out this year and before Skyrim.

Fallout 3, which turned out to be a better game than I expected.

Also the Guild Wars trilogy edition and Eye of the North, since last summer. I'm enjoying it but Guild Wars 2 is going to replace it on my PC when it's released, up to a year from now.

I might still play both as I want all of those "heritage" gifts that you can get for your GW 2 character based off the achievements of your GW1 character.

Final Fantasy VII. Mostly to finally do some things I've always ended up skipping before. Not sure whether that'll include Emerald and Ruby Weapons though.

Also, a certain MMO closed beta that I'm not really supposed to be talking about (or so says the invite email). :ninja:

If you attain and master certain endgame materia, Emerald and Ruby are cake. They're cake without duplicates, but with duplicates it saves time and makes it much easier. Just helped my wife go through and finish FFVII. Going to start FFVIII now.

Had some fun doing NBA Hangtime but not even the cheating catch-up AI (which I hate the concept of) can beat me.. 53-0. The fact that they stopped giving me attribute points before I could max them out also didn't help.

I got Fallout: New Vegas now and been playing it almost two weeks. It's the only Fallout game I started playing and I like it a lot. It's been a really long time since I played any game with guns with first person perspective in a modern type of setting. It made me go through the effort of plugging in my mouse to my laptop computer to play alright, and finding something suitable to use as a mouse pad. This game's pretty hard too, and I think I'm almost done with it. Only been playing hardcoe mode, which basically adds basic needs and does a few other stuff.
