Mod Recommendation Request

Post » Thu Nov 11, 2010 4:46 pm

So, I know these threads are kind of a dime-a-dozen, but now I have a nice new PC, I thought I'd look into making my Oblivion world more appealing to me; I was wondering if anyone would be able to suggest some Mods that may be suitable for what I am looking for?

Mods I'm currently Running:
- Full FCOM Core (OOO, MMM, Frans, Bobs Armory, War Cry)
- All Unique Landscapes (except Bravil Barrow Fields-- only just heard of it)
- Better Cities Full
- All Natural
- Rainbows
- Chapel Bell sounds

Mods I'm planning to get:
- COBL
- Lost Spires

The sort of thing I'm looking for:
- Something to make the Chapl more "Chaply"-- maybe something that adds banners, new clothes, et cetera.
- Something that adds more people to the world (I think there's Travelling Merchants, or something similar, but it's been a while since I last checked, so could be way off base)
- Mods which improve the Vanilla houses
- Anything which adds more varied wildlife
- Something that adds birds

So, would anyone be able to suggest anything that would complement my current set-up, and build up the experience? Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions :)

Downloading Mods - http://tesivpositive.animolious.com/index.php?page=downloading_modsECompanionsNPCs <-- Link to Tamriel Travellers and Crowded Roads Revisited here

Natural Environments for birds
MMM is the top of the wildlife mods. Use more optional add-ons if you want more diversity.

As for chapels, are you using AWLS?

Thanks for the link :)

No, I don't think I'm running AWLS-- but if memory serves, All Natural has a lighting system built in (just can't remember the name right now), which I think IS installed.

AWLS supercedes IlluminationWithin, AWLS supercedes all weather mods, Real Lights and Natural Interiors. They are completely different mods. If you are not using AWLS, I recommend highly recommend it. You should look at the available texture packs, and you may see something that makes the chapels look a bit more to your liking, at least, on the outside. There is a chapel mod that makes each chapel dedicated to a different deity, but I cannot find it. That sort of question is good for the mod detectives thread.

Actually, I wasn't, but I wish I had been. The credit is all yours. That is a mod I might want to try in the future. I already plan to try a number of other Oblivifall mods.

Happy gaming!

Edit: I forgot the link to the section with AWLS: http://tesivpositive.animolious.com/index.php?page=downloading_mods#CityWorld

Tamriel Travellers???

I would prefer Phitt RoamingNPC instead!
Tested Tamriel Travellers in the past but never fitted my taste sorry CorePC.
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20575 Recommended but you should lower spawn rate as suggested by Phitt or get my own adjusted version: http://www.zshare.net/download/78031849f9a0d56d/

I would also highly recommend the following two immersion mods
(just added them definitely to my list the last days):
